There are plenty of wholesome hobbies out there, but gardening has to be one of the best. Growing things from scratch is something to truly be proud of, especially when you have to deal with the changeable temperament of the great outdoors. You don’t have to have a green thumb to appreciate a pretty flowerbed or a damn good tomato, but they are all that more appreciable when you are behind their reason for existing. 

To be a gardener is a very productive thing, which also means that it’s hard work. It makes any positive results even more rewarding, though. It also means that it’s important to take a break from it now and then, which is exactly what memes are for.
