One of her notoriously lazy coworkers noticed this and sneakily tried to hand off her pager to OP so that she could leave her shift early, even though OP wasn’t trying to clock in early. Naturally, this escalated into an issue, and for some odd reason the boss took OP’s coworker’s side. OP maliciously complied by coming in to work right on time instead of setting up early.
