The job market may be rough, but this relationship is far worse. 

After two months of being unemployed, this mooching boyfriend realized life was too easy and simple for him to go back to work. Why would he anyway? When his groceries were paid for, his meals prepared, and his laundry was done by his live-in maid, why would you throw all of that convenience away just to clock in at the office again? Except, his «live-in maid» was actually his career-minded girlfriend, who was getting a bit fed up with his laziness… And lack of contribution. 

As adults, it’s our responsibility to contribute a little something to the world. Some people start families, others follow their careers, and the travelers float around looking at beautiful things. Either way, it’s expected that our romantic partners will follow suit on our desires for life, and while not everyone feels the urge to go work every day, most of us at least have to do SOMETHING to bring in a little extra cheddar. 

So when this woman found out that her boyfriend wasn’t even willing to pitch in for their rent next month, she called him out. Lacking the motivation or the good sense to plead his case, he doubled down in the worst way, stirring up the past like he paid the bills.
