A fitness trainer’s young daughter walks in at the end of her mom’s shift to tell her it’s time to go. Before she can reach the office, a regular gym member swoops in to play hero of the dumbest kind. He blocks the girl’s path and starts parroting the age restriction policy like it’s national law. This isn’t security or staff, just a guy whose biceps have convinced him he’s in charge. Then mom spots the commotion, walks over, and the man realizes he’s policing her kid. Nothing deflates faster than self-importance in the wild.
There’s something uniquely tragic about a man who discovers a gym rule and decides it’s his calling.
