I’ve known several good couples who have met on dating apps. The ads aren’t always lying, sometimes they actually do what they claim they will. However, I can guarantee than every person who got into these relationships had to go through a real endurance test before they struck gold. 

We could argue that this is true of any dating experience, and that the majority of us will have to kiss a few frogs before the prince — online or not. However, there is something about looking for love in this meat market that emphasizes all the entitlement and weirdness many of us have towards relationships.

Unfortunately, this doesn’t stop the fact that most of modern dating is centered around screens. Anybody who currently desires a love life has almost no choice but to brave the depths of Hinge or similar. It is possible to get results if you stay strong, but just be aware you might run into horrors like the examples below.
