You can never be too careful about who you invite into your home. The user who posted this story was taken aback when she realized this person was being serious and continued to tell others that she had a problem with theft. So, when the user decides to host a few friends in her home, the «total klepto» did not receive an invitation, rightfully so. You can never be too careful these days.
