On Monday, May 1st, the singer, actress, and star of the upcoming remake of The Little Mermaid, Halle Bailey, attended the Met Gala. On the red carpet, she was asked this hilarious question.

«If you had to eat Flounder or Sebastian, who would you eat?»

Perfect question. 10/10, no notes. As the consummate professional and media-trained diva she is, Baliey responded appropriately. 

«I would not eat either of them! They’re my friends.»

If I were asked this question, there really only is one answer I could give. There is a whole comedic song in The Little Mermaid where Sebastian evades getting cooked by a goofy French chef. Flounder is a tropical fish and definitely does not taste as good as Mr. «Under The Sea.» I’m sorry, Sebastian, you would fit in on my Red Lobster plate as well as any non-singing crustation. Halle is a nice girl, so she’s sparing you, but your days are numbered bud.
