Like it or not, when we look back on the 2020s TikTok is going to be one of the things that defines the decade (or at least its first half). It is a big part of the reason that people are more comfortable oversharing on the internet than ever, that being an influencer is seen as being as legitimate a career path as any, and that words like «unalive» have entered into the everyday lexicon. 

These aren’t necessarily positive things, but that doesn’t detract from the main draw of the clock app: that it is very, very amusing. It is notorious for being a time sink that allows anybody to waste hours on their FYP, but it is possible to enjoy it in bitesize as well. A list like this is perfect for such a purpose, but be warned: it may increase the temptation to reopen the app and start watching again.
