This mother was just trying to do a good deed, but instead was labelled a Nosy Parker. Whilst some may agree she was given this name for a good reason, others could argue that she was just trying to keep her son’s twin friends warm and supported through this cold winter season. Surely every parent would appreciate somebody looking out for their children in a time of need? Well, these twin girls’ stepfather seems to think that this woman’s kind gesture is just a polite way of saying I pity you…However, it is not difficult to solve this puzzle. His bruised ego is clearly the reason for rejecting their «donation», putting it ahead of the care and consideration of his step-daughters.

Because if he did put their needs first, he’d welcome any gift that would benefit his girls with open arms, whether it made him feel less like a ‘man’ or not…Because, according to this woman, they are a less fortunate family. And this is the season of giving back: not out of pity, but out of the pure ability to do so.
