Welp, it’s the third day of 2020 and the we might’ve just plunged ourselves into the possibility of war with Iran. 

Early this morning, Donald Trump ordered the assassination of Iranian General Qassem Soleimani via drone airstrike in Baghdad today, which has sparked fears over the possibility of an escalation of conflict between the US and the Middle Eastern nation, or even the possibility of a World War III. Soleimani was a beloved military hero in Iran.

Of course, this whole situation is hardly a joke, but we’d like to give memers the benefit of the doubt and assume they’re turning their concern into something (sort of) positive. We’ll go with that. Anyway, scroll down to see some of the best reaction memes.
