It’s 2022, almost 2023, we’re all trying our best to live in the moment. But damn, does society make it hard… With the the chaos of the world making it feel like the end is near, it’s a true exercise of will power to not constantly fall into a nostalgic rabbit hole. Remember the good ‘ole days when you would rent movies from the Blockbuster and not worry about a thing? Politics were important and all back then too, but you were too busy trying to figure out how to get your own milkshake to bring all the boys to the yard to give it your full attention. You could do that back then. You scrape your knee falling off your razor scooter, and your parents did give one hoot. They’d slap a Lion King band-aid on it and stay off the phone for half an hour so you can get some dial-up time and play games on MiniClips. See! There we go, getting trapped in a the world of millennial nostalgia. At least we have these weekly nostalgic memes to comfort us.
