Everything makes sense when you see your new baby for the first time. Whether you chose their name before they were born or let your emotions decide for you in the moment, that’s your prerogative. In this next story, two best friends start the idea of calling ‘dibs’ on certain names they might use for their future children. One of them, however, refuses to share this dibs name, which kind of defeats the whole purpose of that structure. Being that this friend has taken an oath of silence regarding this particular name, the woman who posted the story couldn’t stay away from the name, and the thing they tried to avoid happened.
