On a road trip, travelers can share once-in-a-lifetime experiences, deep conversations, and unforgettable travel moments with their partner, friends, or family. With the wind blowing in their hair, good tunes on the radio, and roadside snacks gathered in the center console, the world is their oyster. Drivers and passengers alike must share responsibility on the road, delegating duties accordingly in order to have a fun and safe trip. Snacks, gas, music, and safe driving are all an absolute necessity.
Alas, «main character energy» has tainted the modern road trip, and because in-car copilots have completely forgotten etiquette, they have devolved from helpful, snack-wielding wingmen into self-absorbed, sleepy-eyed passenger princesses. Without the symbiosis of a good driver-passenger relationship, hours spent in the car can feel more like a prison sentence than a bonding opportunity.
