One of the main things most of us understand about the internet is that a lot of it simply…isn’t real. There are so many people out there who are accustomed to outlandish online tales that the cries of «didn’t happen» seem to get louder with every passing day. 

At the same time, though, a lot of us are more gullible than we’d like to think. This is especially true when it comes to satire. Have fake news outlets become more sophisticated, or is the state of the world today so ridiculous we can believe just about anything? Whatever the reason, it makes for some very funny mistakes.
