This may be controversial, but I think the best part of Christmas gifts is the wrapping. Otherwise, it would just be an item, and not a gift. Is there anything more beautiful and promising than a box wrapped in shiny paper with a big red bow? The bow is so powerful that it holds meaning in other contexts. If you see a bow wrapped around a car or a puppy, you know what it is supposed to signify. If you’re an expert wrapper, then you probably take pride in the way that your presents appear to your loved ones. 

If they don’t remark on how pretty it looks before they tear into it, and offer to save the bow, then you’re doing it wrong. But if you’re an un-expert wrapper, then you’re probably a big fan of gift bags. This is what I do. It looks like you put a lot of effort into something when really all you’ve done is shove it into a bag. Either way, presentation is important. Even for a meme list. This is what we’re here for today.
