I love realizing that my thought of being an «original experience» is actually just the same thing that has been happening to everyone else. 
 

We are so focused on how we are different from everyone else, what makes us special, that we forget that we have more things in common with each other than different. We have similar tastes, similar lives, and similar ways of thinking. We tend to believe that just because some people are really different from us, then we are nothing alike. But it is simpler to find things in common with each other than it is to find the differences. We are similar because we are the same creature.

If I said I love The Simpsons, then some of you would agree and some won’t. I will have people supporting my opinion and others saying that I’m an idiot. Because that’s how the world is divided, unfortunately. But then I can say that I hate the series Friends and, again, some would agree and some won’t. But some of the people who were originally against my taste because I like The Simpsons will be in favor of it because I hate Friends. So, I actually have similar taste to most of the people, but not on every single thing. This applies to basically everything in life.

And even though you may encounter people who will have absolutely nothing in common with you, it happens. That doesn’t mean that every other person on this Earth will be like that. So let’s take a moment to think about how similar we are to everyone else. I think a fun way to think about that is by looking at some relatable memes. We may laugh at the same things, and that makes us more united than we thought.
