‘Two bloomin’ onions, a steak salad, lobster tails, a filet, a chicken sandwich and a sirloin + tip + tax = $125 on Doordash right now. It’s crazy’: Gluttonous father complains about steak and lobster delivered to his home costing over $100

There has been a lot of talk about inflation recently, and I get it. When I go into a grocery store that sells pasta sauce for $11, I want to slam my head into a car door. That being said, there are some things that people claim are «too expensive» because of inflation when, in reality, they’re paying an appropriate price for a luxury service. We often take for granted that we can have a cooked meal from basically any restaurant in our city delivered hot and ready directly to our door. That was not the case 10 years ago. I was not getting Chicken Fried Steak from IHOP delivered to my house in under an hour (or at all) in 2013, but shamefully, I did do that once this year and paid handsomely for it. Food delivery is expensive because of the delivery, and if you’re big and greedy enough to order a meal from a sit-down chain restaurant on DoorDash, you should grin and bear the fees or go to the actual restaurant like a normal person.

One father went viral today for ordering an exorbitant amount of meats from Outback Steakhouse and blaming the fact that they cost $125 on inflation. Beyond this complaint being out of touch and baseless, it’s also extremely funny.
