Employees of the world, today is a day we should feel grateful. Chances are, if you are somebody who works an office or government-related job, you have been granted a day of peace, quiet and no work by virtue of the state. If you happen to be a part of one of the many industries or businesses that laugh in the face of the bank holiday concept, then sucks to be you.

No matter where you fall on the work vacation spectrum, there is one thing that unites us all: the fact that having a job frequently sucks. There’s no getting around the simple matter that most of us begrudge working in the way that we do to be able to afford food and shelter. Having a quality of life? Who ever gave a crap about that?
