Ah, the gym. A wonderful and, depending on who you are, terrifying place.

Gyms are inherently frightening. I remember my first experience. Surrounded by fit and healthy adults who clearly knew what they were doing. I, of course, was visibly lost and in terrible shape. It wasn’t until I realized that absolutely no one cares what anyone else is doing at the gym that I began to feel comfortable.

The gym habitat contains a wide range of creatures. People looking for a healthy dose of movement, cardio maniacs who dominate the ellipticals, the swolest individuals you’ve ever seen, and everyone else in between. It’s a designated zone for exercise enthusiasts of all walks to gather and practice the sacred act known as a gym routine.

Now, I’m no gym rat. I don’t lift or even regularly exercise. In fact, I have the muscle mass of an 11-year-old. But for those who fancy themselves gym regulars, these memes are for you!
