One of those things that you hear people say over and over again is that life is short. We would assume that if this is the case, we would all be trying to make the most of it. While I’m sure there are some who genuinely do, the rest of us seem to be willfully ignoring reality by wasting away the hours in useless jobs that we don’t even like that much.

Of course, most have a legitimate reason for this. This godforsaken money stuff doesn’t grow on trees, after all. Still, the financial incentive isn’t always enough to sweeten the bitter pill of 9 to 5 drudgery. 

One of the few things that can lighten the load are our good friends memes. Laughter might not bring the work revolution, but it will make another week go by with a bit more ease. Sometimes, that’s the best that we can ask for.
