We live in an age when many people increasingly can’t or won’t commit to all kinds of different things. Part of this comes from living in a society where it is increasingly difficult for the majority to plan in the long term, and part of it comes from many people being plain old commitment-phobes. 

There are many criticisms to be made about why this might be and what its effects are, but it plays perfectly into an internet that is riddled with memes. All they require are a second or two of our time to effectively do the job that they were created for. If we have restraint, we don’t have to commit that much time out of our day to them at all. 

However, here at Memebase, we understand that it doesn’t always work that way. That’s why we like putting a few memes in a neat little parcel that doesn’t go on forever, as can be seen below.
