It’s winter, and you know what that means for parents! It means your family needs to stock up on vitamin C, hand sanitzer, and cough syrup. For real, cold weather is no joke for families with little kids—heck, even families with teenagers! Germs are getting passed around left and right. They’re nearly impossible to avoid. Everyone is getting sick at the same time, you’re all blaming each other, and right when you’re feeling better, someone else comes in feeling sicky again. It’s a disaster. What are you supposed to do? Pull your kids out of school? Stop your todds from having playdates?
Sorry, mom and dad, you know you just have to endure it like you do every year. When the kid visiting your kid sneezes, time to dose yourself with Vitamin C. When the toddler your kid is making a pillow fort with starts coughing, maybe make sure your kid doesn’t give you one of their famous extra slobbery kisses? And, of course, make sure you win the battle of how many layers are appropriate to go play outside in the cold. You’re kids are crazy for thinking that one light jacket will have them safe and snug in 9 degree weather…
