No matter what we might like to think about ourselves, none of us are above getting into a situation that may best be described as ‘messy’. Even if we try our hardest to keep our lives in order, there is no predicting the weird and not-so-wonderful things that other people or simply the cruel hand of fate might bring to us. In these cases, the best thing to do is attempt to think logically and deal with the fact that navigating the near and possibly far future is going to be more difficult than we would like it to be. 

This is especially true when it comes to family issues. More often than not, they are the kind of problems that simply cannot be avoided, and have some pretty bad ramifications if they are. Difficult it may be, but it is important to face the issue head-on even when you might be in the wrong.
