Your DnD crew is like family. You come to them when you need support. You ask them for advice. And you fight like siblings when trying to figure out a puzzle. Family is incredibly important, but they can also drive you nuts. Your DnD family, though, is your chosen family. You assembled them because presumably, you like them. Or at the very least, you respect their gameplay. You think they make creative choices and you’d like to be aligned with them. 

This doesn’t mean you’re not at each other’s throats when push comes to shove, though. Being in the heat of a DnD game is not always the easiest. There are so many decisions you have to make and choices to be made in a split second, and what you choose for your character might end up greatly impacting everyone else in your party. This is why it’s important to be a good family member.
