In this world, nothing can be said to be certain except death, taxes, and J.K. Rowling complaining on Twitter. This week, she responded to a tweet that posed the question: ‘What actor/actress instantly ruins a movie for you?’

She was clearly referring to Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson, all of whom have come out against her transphobic views while maintaining the utmost respect for her as a person. So many wild people think that the young cast from the original Harry Potter movies must forever be indebted to Rowling for what she did for their careers. I believe she owes some credit to the actors who did child labor for 10 years and made her intellectual property more famous than the books ever found on their own. Also, being indebted to someone doesn’t mean that you have to never disagree with them in a public forum. 

That comment was a total low blow, and it confirms for me that the only reason that they’re making a Harry Potter TV show (besides to make a bunch of money) is because Rowling hates that Radcliffe, Grint, and Watson disagree with her.
