It’s not uncommon for programmers to have some kind of complex about what they do, and it isn’t difficult to see why. After all, they provide a service that the modern world relies on to function, which only a relatively small proportion of people understand and an even smaller proportion are willing to contribute to its maintenance, upkeep, and innovation. It requires you to be an expert problem solver, Googler, and/or AI wrangler, and those are not always skills that come easily. Plus, you have to have the patience of a saint if you are dealing with a particularly difficult piece of code.
All of these mean that the world of programming memes offers a welcome reprieve for those coders who are sick of staring at the Bad screen and want to reward themselves with the Good one. As this humor proves, there are plenty of others who are in the same boat.
