Happy Monday, y’all! The first day of the work week is almost over, and I have to say, I don’t get all of the hate on Mondays. I find Mondays to be one of my most peaceful, productive days of the week. I’m well rested from the weekend and have finished recovering from the events of the last work week. Usually I don’t have anything super arduous planned after work, so I can just chill at home and recover from the weekend a little bit. I find the idea of going out to eat on a Monday kind of silly…like what are we doing here? It’s the night that so many bars and restaurants are closed anyway, so why not take that as a sign that we should chill on the couch and watch college basketball? At least, that’s what I’m planning to do with my long-awaited Monday night.
