If you are a goth or have ever had a goth phase, then you know the plight of never having the right black clothing. It is either not dark enough, the undertones aren’t matching up, or it fades in the wash. It’s a constant cycle of buying black pants, them fading, and you having to get new ones. At least you can depend on the make you go through because you’re definitely using that up way before it can fade or go bad in any way. So when someone who has never had a «goth phase» calls you out for not wearing something that is «black» enough, you can straight up shove it in their face, because they are not credible in the subject! 

So when this employee, who never had a goth phase, gets called out for not having black enough pants at work, she turns to the goths for help. As she should.
