Did this winter feel extra long and sad for anyone else? The days were short, the skies were gray, and the general vibe was just blah. But now it’s finally starting to feel like we’re turning a corner. It’s sunnier out, the temps are rising, and it’s still light out at 7 p.m. Things are definitely looking up. You start to think life couldn’t get any better now that it’s spring… and then the pollen hits.

Not for me though. I’m up north, and I woke up to an inch of snow on the ground this morning (no, I’m not okay). So spring hasn’t quite made its debut here yet. Meanwhile, I was doing my taxes yesterday (boo), and my tax preparer, who’s based down south, kept going on and on about how bad his allergies have been this week. Brag much? I’m not sure who has it worse… probably me. Choose your fighter. At least he didn’t have to pull out his winter coat again today.
