We may be biased here, but is there any greater fandom than all of the nasty little hobbitses that are lovers of The Lord of the Rings? Admittedly, they already have a lot of natural privilege compared to most fandoms, thanks to the sheer quality of the source material, but that is not the only factor involved. No, it is also the fact that these wannabe inhabitants of Middle-earth are so dedicated to the cause that they are also some of the finest memers in all of the nerdy land. 

This is proven by the glut of hilarious LOTR-related content that graces both the internet and our eyeballs, week after week. As if the lore that Tolkien created all those years ago wasn’t deep and fascinating enough, the ridiculous memes we have to go alongside it only add to the depth and the enjoyment. Go ahead, Tolkien-heads, and keep on getting silly with it.
