Sometimes people make choices that we cannot understand. This is the nature of being a human. You can never truly know what goes on in somebody else’s head. You might have empathy for them and try your best to understand, but you can never fully know. Because you haven’t had the same life experiences, you haven’t been raised in the same circumstances, and you don’t have the same exact brain chemistry. Even identical twins can never 100% know what’s happening in the noggin of their twin. It can be a frustrating part of existence. It can often leave you… baffled.

Baffled is where we find ourselves today in the wake of these images. They don’t make sense to me and they may not make sense to you. But for a brief moment, they made sense to whoever was in charge of making them, and we will just have to live with that.
