‘She just left her two toddlers in my apartment’: Mom expects neighbor to babysit her kids while working from home, leaves them at the doorstep without asking and refuses to come back

Working from home has many advantages, which is why most people would give anything to have the option to work without ever leaving the comfort of their own homes. It’s peaceful, there’s no commute, and no office drama to deal with.

However, it’s also important to note that while the advantages are great, there are also some disadvantages to the whole deal, and those should be taken into consideration before you build your own home office.

For example, people who work from home usually don’t have a great work-life balance. If you don’t have clear work hours from home, you can often find yourself sleeping in until 11 AM, and then still working at 8 PM. For some people, this arrangement might be great, but it can also create stress when you can’t separate when you’re supposed to be working from when you’re supposed to rest.

Another huge disadvantage of working from home is that everyone you know will simply assume you are available for their beck and call, just because you do not work from an office.
