I love a good idiom. I’m an absolute idiot for idioms. I could use them until the cows come home. You get the point, I won’t beat a deceased horse. Because you can lead it to water, but you can’t make it drink, and I’ve got champagne taste on a beer budget. 

Some idioms are more useful than others, though. For instance, «The juice ain’t worth the squeeze.» This one is incredibly useful because I often find myself in a situation where whatever I’m getting out of something isn’t worth the effort of going through it, like making your own vegetable stock or hemming your own pants. Maybe someone is getting stuff out of that, but in my life, it’s best if I leave that stuff to the experts. The juice ain’t worth, and I’ll say this slowly, the squeeze. But you know what is?
