Schools out and oh man, does it have a totally different meaning now that you’re a parent… Back when you were the kid, school being out meant freedom, fun, and no rules! Now that you’re a parent… Well, it means less freedom and more rules, still fun though! Most of the time. It’s just exhausting to have to take care of your kid 24-7 now, when you were used to at least having some time during the day to do what you needed to do as a function adult. But that’s okay, because you cherish every second you can get with your precious little ones! 

Still… One week of laying on the beach with a piña colada and no worries in the world would be a dream come true! But honestly, could you even truly fully relax being away from your kids for that long? Probably not—that’s the plight of parenthood, you miss them when they’re gone and they drive ya crazy when they’re there. No matter what, though, you love them more than anything you ever though possible!
