DnD is not all fun and games. Oh, wait, it is. It’s buckets of fun, and it’s a game. I think we should be playing more games in general because I think it makes us better people. If we play games (board, role-playing, video) then we’re less likely to play games in our relationship. And who wants to be with someone who plays games in relationships? Nobody. You exercise a lot of your desire to strategize, to analyze, and to take other people down. 

If you’re spending your evening coming up with game plans as a group to slay the dragon and get the treasure, then you’re less likely to text your boyfriend, «Are you mad at me?» even though you know he’s not. You’re too busy role-playing as an elf to have any time to scheme in your interpersonal life.
