One of the best things about being a parent is watching your little one turn into a person. They start off so unbelievably small that you can’t possibly imagine that one day they will be an adult with a bank account. The fun of being a parent, though, is all the steps in between. First, they’re a baby, and they’re not good for much except spitting up, but boy, are they cute, and boy, are they fun to hold. Then they’re toddlers, with huge personalities and the ability to run away at every turn. 

pThen they’re kids, making friends in the neighborhood and learning how to ride a bike (with more than a few skinned knees along the way). Then, before you know it they’re teenagers and they’re hiding from you in their rooms. And then they’re off. And by off I mean probably living at home for a few more years because it’s tough out there.
