We’ve all been there: In desperate need of a private secretary to inform us of paper deadlines, ensure we are gracefully awoken for our 8 a.m.s, to place our textbooks gently under our pillows at night, and pray that some sliver of knowledge enters our brains. 

Some of us are lucky enough to have those unofficial secretaries. You just have to make sure to buddy up with the right people, who drip ambition and lack of sleep, on the first day of college. If not, confusion will be the only expression your face can achieve. 

We have the resources, the tuition’s been paid, but for some reason, that Zara shopping cart or NBA game is slightly more attention-grabbing than hearing about the 1896 invention of the radio (Yes, I googled that!) 

So here we are…3 years later, somehow knowing less than we did when we started. 

What could possibly be more beautiful than education? We spend endless nights studying a «life-changing» topic, write everything we know about it down in a 2-hour window period, and never think about it again. 

But good luck with finals, babe, you got this! (And if they happen to ask, it was Guglielmo Marconi who invented the radio.)
