Unless your name is Charli XCX, you probably don’t like going to the airport. There’s something incredibly stressful about finding transportation to the airport, checking your bags, going through TSA, getting to your gate, and getting on the plane, even if these are pretty basic tasks that mostly involve standing in line and walking. You’re usually going to the airport for a high-stakes reason. You don’t want to miss a business conference or a family trip, especially if you paid $300 for the ticket to get to the city where these events are taking place. If you are late catching the bus, it’s annoying, but at least there’s another one in 20 minutes. If you aren’t at your gate 30 minutes before departure, there is a huge chance you will be out a couple of hundred bucks and have to either cancel your trip or cough up more money to reschedule.
