The first human experience of ultimate FOMO! Suddenly, their birthday cake is the most exciting cake they’ve ever seen, every other 5-year-old child looks like the coolest, funniest potential-buddy ever…Yet, you aren’t a part of the party crew and are forced to observe their fun from the sidelines…Absolutely devastating, but an essential part and shared experience of growing up. 

But then…you get those mothers…The mothers who just cannot bear the idea of their child going without a piece of the cake…And we get it, no parent wants to see their child missing out or feeling excluded, but that doesn’t give them automatic rights to be party-crashers. If the party parent offers some extra snacks or a free spot in one of the activities, that’s a whole different story, but if a parent comes storming in, demanding access to the free food and activities, it is unlikely that someone is going to want to give in to their entitled demands…Take it from this mother, she would know!
