December crept up on all of us, didn’t it? With a late Thanksgiving and an unusually sped-up timeline to the holidays, it seems like we’ve hardly had time to get into the Christmas spirit. Luckily, we have memes to help speed up the process. 

While many folks obsess over their Christmas bonuses, PTO requests, and finding the perfect gift for their loved ones, the Christmas spirit lay dormant in our souls. All we need to do to tap into this infinite well of mirth is play our favorite holiday record, bake some cookies, watch a holiday movie, and manually ramp up the cheer. Sure, they’re wonderful, but we don’t need wrapped presents, Christmas lights, and perfectly cooked roast beast dinners. We need quality time with our loved ones, cozy cabin socks, and a roaring yule log queued up on the TV. 

Perhaps this whole «Christmas spirit» thing is a lot simpler than we imagined. Like Buddy the Elf always says, «The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear.» So the next time you’re inspired to belt out «Santa Baby» in public, follow your heart and sing some carols; you may be surprised by who chimes in with you.
