We can debate the best Christmas movies from here until next Tuesday, but the best Christmas movie will always be the one that you saw at a formative age and loved. These ones will always mean the most to you. For me, it’s the Will Ferrell movie Elf. I saw it when I was at the perfect age, and it has never eased up its grip on me. Every line of it is funny. It’s heartwarming, it’s goofy, and it makes you think about what the holiday spirit means. It’s a beautiful, near-perfect movie, and I will never get tired of watching it. Yours might be something else, though. Yours might be Home Alone or White Christmas. I don’t make the rules. I do make the meme lists.
