Nothing beats a good sci-fi movie over a holiday weekend. Picture this: you’re snuggled up in a new sweater. One of your loved ones has made a fresh batch of hot chocolate and has poured you a big mug. There is nothing to be done, no plans to be made, and nowhere to go, except to watch the Star Wars Christmas special. That’s all you have to do tonight. And it’s one of the best feelings in the world. I hope we can all tap into that type of energy this week, in some form or another. 

There’s something delightfully cozy about science fiction this time of year. It takes us away from the cold, dark winter and brings us somewhere now. It’s a great time to revisit the classics, not like we’re not doing that all year anyway. But it hits extra hard at the end of the year.
