There’s truly nothing I love more than a little Pinterest vision board to start the year.
But before you set off to make your vibrantly-colored collage for 2026, have you ever taken the time to look back at your previous vision boards throughout the year and discover whether or not you’ve actually achieved the goals plastered upon your 2016 is my year poster? This isn’t an idea intended to make you feel bad about yourself for the goals you continuously (and sometimes intentionally) push aside year after year. But rather a way to remind you of some old hobbies or goals your younger self cared about, and deciding whether it may be time they make a comeback for 2026! You might surprise yourself, I know I sure did…Turns out 2016 Emma was BIG on photography, clear skin, and getting all A’s during middle school! What a time! But yeah, my skin’s cleared up, and I graduated from university, so maybe it’s time I could look back at that whole photography thing?
Now, let’s just hope this little hack helps you as much as it did me! And even if you’re a vision-board newbie, take this as your sign to download Pinterest, or even buy a few magazines if you want a little throwback, and start planning how you want your 2026 to look!
