Office food thieves are the worst.

For a lot of employees, the highlight of their working day is when they get to go on their break and tuck into whatever it is they brought for lunch. Not only is it a much-needed moment of enjoyment to break up the monotony, but it is also quite literally the sustenance they need to keep going. They deserve to have it waiting for them in the refrigerator with no tampering.

Despite this being common sense, there are far too many disrespectful coworkers who love to act like they have free rein over whatever sustenance can be found in the office breakroom. Nothing ruins an otherwise average workday like finding out your lunch has disappeared, but some people seem to take active pleasure in making this happen. All the careful placement and labels in the world can’t keep the sticky fingers of these types out of somebody else’s lunch box. 

The unfortunate reality is that drastic action is often the only thing that will put a stop to an office lunch thief. They are already shameless, so they need to feel real consequences to make them cease the habit once and for all.
