The development of the Lord of the Rings extended universe continues apace.

The cast of The Hunt for Gollum continues to grow in size and magnitude, with the announcement that Kate Winslet will be joining the movie decades after turning down a role in the original trilogy. There is also season 3 of The Rings of Power looming on the horizon, as well as the promise of a new RPG, The Lord of the Rings: Circle of Conflict, which will be released by the end of this year.
