Most would agree that parents and the workplaces of their adult children are not likely to be a good mix. Of course, there are exceptions to the rule, like when mom or dad runs the company, but even these situations can have their drawbacks. A lot of people feel they are not taken as seriously when their parents are involved in their work, and their parents do not always take the same point of view.
