Being a true Tolkien nerd takes a level of dedication that only a chosen few can muster.

It may be one of the largest and most famous fandoms in the world, but it cannot be denied that watching all the movies (extended editions preferred, obviously) and reading all the books enough times to pick up every minor plot point and Easter egg is a commitment that can only be achieved with a true love of all things Lord of the Rings. And that is before we even get into the endless spin-offs in every imaginable format that continue to prop up the franchise.
