Families are always overjoyed when a new baby comes along, but should they bankroll every expense to make it happen? No.
A rich girl launched a family charity fund to bankroll her IVF baby wish, but she didn’t need the money; she just wanted everyone else to pay for it.
It’s a parent’s responsibility to ensure they’re adequately preparing for a baby to come. Sometimes that means they’re nesting in a nursery room, saving up a college fund, or monitoring their household nutrition to ensure a balanced diet. For this young, entitled woman, her preparation for her future ideal baby came in the form of a crowdfunding request, as she created an account to beg for money from her immediate family members to pay for IVF treatment for a baby.
Did she need the money? Not exactly, she and her older husband had loads of cash… They were planning a trip to Japan for goodness sake!
While crowdfunding sites are perfect to help people in need following disasters, in medical peril, or who need emergency charitable donations, it’s certainly not the kind of platform that exists to help rich girls shakedown their family members to help pay for a baby. That’s just terrible parenting planning, and it’s only just the beginning of a lifelong request for allowance money for that future kid, too.
At first, many of the family members agreed, getting excited about the prospects of a baby, but the older sibling couldn’t be fooled. The eldest was keenly aware of their younger sister’s entitlement and wouldn’t stand to watch her manipulate the whole family like this. I suppose that means it’s time for a tried-and-true sisterly roast a la group chat. When someone is acting like a clown, the only way to respond is by laughing at their jokes, especially if they’re cruel, manipulative, and trying to use the family group chat to bankroll their own interests.
Sorry, sis, the cat is out of the bag on this one. Maybe it’s time to rethink that Japan trip if you really want a baby so badly. Judging by this traveling sugar baby’s tendencies, if the IVF plan falls through, she’ll be saying sayonara to the baby and konichiwa to a plane ticket.
