Let’s sail on in to the weekend at a leisurely pace. 

Well, it’s not far down to paradise, at least it’s not for me. And if the wind is right, you can sail away and find tranquility. Christopher Cross could not have created more of a vibe than he did when he wrote his song «Sailing.» That’s exactly the energy. I’m trying to bring into this weekend. I’m trying to take it on down a notch and cruise on Easy Street. We spent so much time and energy trying to do everything right in the week. We focus and put our heads down and work hard and hope that we see returns for our efforts. But just because you put effort into something doesn’t mean that you’ll get it in return. That’s why we have the weekend. Sometimes you just need time away from a problem before you can approach it again. You need a little bit of perspective before you can get back in the saddle and try it all over again. But it matters what type of energy you’re bringing into it. If you’re bringing in harsh energy to the weekend, then you’re gonna have a harder time unwinding. But if you take it down a notch and put on a good song that makes you feel like you’re traveling down a smooth river that’s going to lead you into a beautiful lagoon, and everything is going to be just right.
