Not everything is as it seems at first glance.

In these busy times when everybody is predominantly preoccupied with themselves, it is easy to take everything at face value and keep it moving. On top of that, sometimes thinking too hard about everything around us is enough to bring you to a nervous breakdown, and that is the last thing that anybody needs.

Still, sometimes it pays to pay attention. If we just spend a little more time pondering, even on things that don’t seem to be that deep, we can be surprised and even enlightened by what we find. A meme, for example, may be designed to be consumed and forgotten within moments, but that doesn’t mean that it doesn’t deserve a second glance. That way, we leave no stone unturned when it comes to the fickle world of online entertainment. 

Naturally, everyone has their blind spots, and we can’t be on top of everything constantly. It’s also not wrong to just enjoy the humor that can be found below in a casual manner, and let the message sit however it seems to want to. Every so often, a revelation comes along as if it appeared out of nowhere, and that also has value to us. We don’t always have to force it, and can enjoy simply being along for the ride. Nothing more, nothing less.
